‘Having a goal and going all out for it – that’s my strength’
Esmeralda Kleine has no lack of persistence. She is a really tenacious person who started out in pre-vocational secondary education (theoretical programme), but completed her law degree in 2017 and now goes through life as a Master of Laws. ‘Having a goal and going all out for it – that’s my strength’, she says. And she now shows that every day in her role as a lawyer at the Guido de Wit law firm.
The choice of a career in law clicked with Esmeralda during a careers day. ‘Once I had my goal, I started on a fairly major catch-up. With support from home, I developed a good feeling for the work of lawyers. And that’s the path I took. After graduating, I joined the Guido de Wit law firm as a legal assistant. I’ve since been sworn in as a lawyer. At the Guido de Wit law firm, I’m in an environment that suits my ambitions and the cases and fields of law are a perfect match with my interests, knowledge and skills. I’m enthusiastic about advising and supporting entrepreneurs and have a strong affinity with labour law, contract law and company law.’
